World and conversations - RPGINI Docs
Locations, events, and in-world conversations. Where and how to write with others.
The world is where the story lives. Locations and events hold the in-world conversations — that’s where you write with other writers.
World tab
The World tab in a roleplay has two kinds of elements:
- Locations — Places in the setting. Each can have a description and contain conversations.
- Events — Timed or story events. Like locations, they can have descriptions and conversations.
Locations and events are where conversations happen.
Locations and events
Click a location or event to open it. You’ll see:
- Description — Lore and details.
- List of conversations — Threads in that location or event.
Creating locations and events can be limited on the free tier (e.g. a maximum per roleplay). When the roleplay is boosted, those limits may be removed or raised.
Conversations
A conversation is a thread inside one location or event. To take part:
- Open the roleplay → World → choose a location or event.
- Find the conversation you want to join.
- Request to join — Use the conversation request flow and choose which character(s) to use.
- Moderators approve — They review and approve or reject.
- Once approved, open the conversation and post.
Posting
- Rich text — You can format your posts (bold, italics, etc.) in the editor.
- In-character — Write as your character in the story.
- Real-time — Updates can appear in real time; refresh or wait for the UI to update if needed.
Flow summary
Go to the roleplay → World → pick a location or event → find a conversation → request to join with your character → get approved → write in the conversation.
