Roleplays: creating and managing - RPGINI Docs
Create a roleplay, add mods, manage approvals and participants.
Run your own world and set the tone. Create a roleplay, add mods, and control who joins so the story stays consistent.
Creating a roleplay
Use Create roleplay to start a new roleplay. You can set:
- Title and description — What the story is about.
- Status — Draft, open, or closed.
- Application status — Whether applications are open or closed.
- Genre and tags — For discovery and filtering.
- Rules — Posting and behavior rules.
- Images — Cover or gallery images.
- World — Setting, lore, magic, tech, factions, etc.
- Max characters per user — How many characters each member can use.
- Allow multiple characters — Whether members can use more than one character.
- Require approval — Whether join requests need mod approval.
- Optional password — So only people with the password can apply.
Save as draft until you’re ready to open applications.
Managing your roleplays
Your created roleplays are listed under Created roleplays. From there, or from the roleplay’s own page, you can:
- Edit — Change any of the roleplay’s settings and content.
- Archive or delete — Archive or delete the roleplay when you need to.
Moderation
Adding mods
As the owner, you can add moderators. Use the mod invite flow on the roleplay page to send invites. Accepted mods can help manage the roleplay and approvals.
Approval queue
If require approval is on, join requests appear in the Approvals tab. Mods and the owner approve or reject each application so you control who joins and keep the story consistent. If allow user flair selection is on, applicants can choose a flair when applying; you manage flairs in the same area.
Participants
The Participants view shows who’s in the roleplay and which character(s) each person is using. Use it to see the cast and manage membership when you have the permissions.
